Joint Workshop 1A – More Responses to Court Funding Budget Cuts
The dialogue on strategies to fund the courts continues with additional presenters discussing how their bars collaborated with the court, the legislature and other agencies to maintain access to the courts. Panelists from the earlier plenary will also join them for a roundtable discussion.

Well-articulated criteria and a grant priority statement are central to the selection of charitable activities that match the bar foundation’s mission. By being specific about what you can or cannot fund, you avoid many of the “junk proposals” that might come your way. You also remove some of the potential conflicts with related organizations that seek funding for projects that may not be related to your bar foundation’s objectives.
